The IoTX™ Gateway requires an internet connection (Wi-Fi or LAN) to send notifications to your app. The connected devices like TrapX® Pro and DripX® use long-range, low-power communication to connect to the Gateway — not directly to Wi-Fi — ensuring stable and reliable performance even in large spaces.

4. How do I set up my IoTX™ devices?

All IoTX products are designed for quick plug-and-play setup. Simply:

  1. Power on the IoTX™ Gateway and connect it to your network.

  2. Install your devices (TrapX® or DripX®) where needed.

  3. Pair them via the IoTX™ App to start receiving alerts instantly.

5. How long do the batteries last?

Each IoTX device is engineered for long-term reliability. TrapX® Pro sensors and DripX® leak detectors offer up to 10 years of battery life, depending on usage and environment.

6. Can I use TrapX® and DripX® together?

Yes! Both devices connect to the same IoTX™ Gateway and can be managed within the same mobile app. This gives you one unified dashboard for smart leak prevention and pest detection.

7. Are IoTX devices suitable for commercial use?
